About Us
Microscopy New Zealand Incorporated is the national society for professionals working with microscopy technologies in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our members include academics, research specialists, and technical staff from universities, public research institutes, technical institutes, clinical fields and industry. We also welcome corporate members. Research fields cover a wide spectrum from biological and biomedical sciences, clinical applications and materials science. The purpose of the society is to share expertise, ideas, and keep the microscopy and imaging community informed, engaged, and connected.
Every two years we hold a conference, which is hosted in a different part of the country. The conferences represent the opportunity to connect face-to-face, exchange knowledge, and build relationships.
We also produce a newsletter, Microscopy in Focus and have a monthly communication, which provides updates on events and opportunities inside New Zealand and elsewhere.
Sign up now to join us and become a part of this thriving community.
